As part of the Ohio Chapters strategic plan, building the Outings program is a priority to reduce barriers and ensure all people have opportunities to explore and enjoy nature, and by doing so, inspiring and empowering a new generation of volunteers to protect the environment. The Chapter Outings Committee provides leadership, direction, and oversight to the chapter outings program, as well as the outings programs of local groups and sections.
