The Angeles Chapter Sierra Club’s Fundraising Committee is a grassroots, volunteer-led team working to bring funding to support our campaigns, programs, and conservation work. Through community powered fundraising, the committee has helped organize events and appeals that connect supporters with the Angeles Chapter’s mission.

We’re looking for volunteers who want to help grow this work and make a meaningful impact.

Fundraising Committee Events Volunteer Leader- Support the planning and execution of fundraising events.

• Contribute ideas for fun, accessible, grassroots fundraising activities.
• Help with event logistics, outreach, invitations, and volunteer coordination.
• Help identify creative ways to bring new supporters into the Angeles Chapter community.
• Work with fellow volunteers to make events successful and welcoming.

What We’re Looking For

• Participate in monthly Fundraising Committee meetings.
• Commit approximately 1–5 hours per month.
• Bring enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to pitch in.
• No professional fundraising experience is required, just a desire to support the Sierra Club’s campaigns and programs.
• Volunteers may choose the role that best matches their interests, or contribute across both areas.
